Bio/Description

Victoria Grace Muir (vick-TOR-ee-ah GRAIS MYU | she/her/hers) was a Presidential Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the lab. She completed her B.S.ChE. at the University of Delaware (2018) and her Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania (2022) under the advisement of Professor Jason A. Burdick. Her research interests center on designing granular hydrogels for bioengineering applications. Her work in the lab focused on using granular hydrogels and bioprinting to study microbial interactions in porous media. She then moved on to a faculty position at the University of Delaware.

Outside of lab, Victoria volunteers as a leader within AIChE, currently serving as the global chair of the Young Professionals Community (YPC). Victoria also likes to spend time doing (and teaching!) Zumba, watching the latest MCU and Star Wars series, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles (Go Birds!!), and exploring NJ with her husband, Rob.
