Florence Odigie worked in the lab as a sophomore undergraduate student in Chemical and Biological Engineering. Her scientific interests include genetically modified organisms and food manufacturing. Her research focused on developing ways to make and characterize hydrogels.

Florence is from Queens, New York. She is the Recruitment Chair for Princeton's Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers and treasurer of Botany Club. In her free time she also enjoys reading, cooking, and gardening.
