Cristian Arens worked in the lab as a third-year undergraduate student in Chemical and Biological Engineering, also pursuing a certificate in Materials Science and Engineering and hoping to concentrate on nanomaterials. His interests lie in the development of new materials to support emerging technologies, such as super computing and fusion energy.

Cristian was born in Guatemala but now lives in Arkansas. He enjoys playing sports, exploring the outdoors, and messing around on his guitar. Want to make him smile? Give him candy!
