Cecilia Quirk worked in the lab as a second-year undergraduate student in Operations Research and Financial Engineering, also planning to pursue a certificate in Humanistic Studies. She is fascinated by applications of materials science to biotechnology and environmental science. Her work in the lab focused on simulating the interactions between immiscible fluids and colloid particles in porous media.

Cecilia grew up in Wayne, PA, but is no stranger to Jersey after spending summers working down the shore. At Princeton, she is also involved with Princeton's Peru Chapter of Engineers Without Borders and Club Tennis. Her other pastimes include haphazardly attempting to learn new languages on Duolingo & explaining the wonder that is Wawa to friends not from the area.
