Caroline Adkins worked in the lab as a fourth-year undergraduate student in Civil and Environmental Engineering, also pursuing certificates in Global Health and Health Policy, Engineering Biology, and Sustainable Energy. Her interests lie in the intersections of these fields, particularly in how they relate to the development of sustainable water sources for human consumption. She then moved on to graduate school at Stanford.

Caroline was born and raised in South Florida, where she gained a strong appreciation for the Sun she did not know she had until living through her first winter in New Jersey. When she's not listening to her parents complain about the 65°F "cold-front" they are having back home, you can find her playing club soccer or lacrosse, or scoping out campus for the most optimal napping spots.
