Ariana Di Landro worked in the lab as an undergraduate student considering studies in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology or Physics, also pursuing certificates in Environmental Studies and Biophysics. Her interests lie in the intersection between physics and microbiology; specifically, on the implications of microbial behaviors for the natural environment. Her work in the lab focused on the emergent behavior of active matter in polymeric environments.

Ariana lives in Elizabeth, New Jersey and has grown up there her whole life. She wouldn't trade New Jersey for any other state. In her free time, you can find her either running around campus trails or laying in the comfort of her dorm reading a mystery murder novel!
