Amina Anowara was an undergraduate in the lab studying Chemical and Biological Engineering, also planning to pursue a certificate in Engineering Biology. Her interests include tissue engineering and using soft materials to create innovative medical treatments. Her work in the lab involved studying the growth of bacterial populations in porous media.

Amina was born and raised in New York City. In her free time, she is either on the hunt for new succulent and flower species to grow, watching sunsets, or bingeing TV shows. She loves creating things, so you might catch her doing photography, making pottery, or trying out another new skill. On campus she is the president of the South Asian Students Association.
