Bio/Description

Soka and Lilo Muir are pawsdoctoral researchers in the lab. Lilo started her kitty life as an only child in Philly after being rescued from the Brandywine SPCA. Soka became her puppy sister, and unlikely friend and playmate, a few years later after also being rescued from the Brandywine SPCA. Soka and Lilo are both avid Philadelphia Eagles fans.

At Princeton, Soka and Lilo collaborate on projects studying life in dormant and non-motile states, with particular emphasis on how the bed comfiness impacts napping abilities around the clock. Soka likes to verbally communicate her research findings via barks during Zoom meetings, while Lilo prefers written communication via walking on the keyboard when her mom leaves word documents open.
