Nikhil Subraveti is a postdoctoral researcher co-advised with Bob Prud'homme. He did his undergraduate studies in chemical engineering at IIT Madras, India, and then obtained his PhD in chemical engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park, synthesizing smart skins/membranes around soft aqueous structures for regulating the release of small molecule solutes. He is currently working on developing functionalized nanoparticles to modify bacterial communities.

Born and raised in India, Nikhil loves playing the two most played sports in the country, Cricket and Badminton. He also enjoys cooking, pencil sketching, hiking, and long-distance running, with hopes to participate in the Boston Marathon someday. Need any help from him? Just give him Oreos.
