Hao Nghi Luu was an undergraduate student in Chemical and Biological Engineering, also pursuing a certificate in Materials Science and Engineering. Her interests lie generally in the intersections of chemistry, biology, and mathematics but also specifically in alternative proteins and engineered living materials. Her work in the lab focused on self-healing materials.

Hao was born in Vietnam and raised in North Carolina. She has also come to appreciate the weather at Princeton during the cooler seasons. At home, one of her favorite pastimes is walking and playing with her Golden Retriever. On campus, you might find her trying to improve on her Mandarin Chinese through intensely watching Chinese TV shows or dramas in her free time.
