Bio/Description

Danielle Sclafani is a PhD student in Chemical and Biological Engineering. She did her undergraduate work in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied nanoparticle-polymer composite layers and virucidal coatings in Daeyeon Lee’s lab. Her current research focuses on bacteria-phage interactions in porous media.

Outside of lab, Danielle enjoys dancing tango and ballet, playing music with friends, along with spending time outside: hiking, biking, and climbing rocks.
